I have never been a huge fan of the cartoon bird, so this is kind of like whatever to me but maybe a modified one will look good....Just get rid of the orange bill.

I like both of these moves. I do hope the '70/'83 cartoon bird amalgamation looks good.

The "slight twist" is just about the Cartoon Bird itself. The guy didn't send me any pics or anything, just a brief description of the caps and a couple details about the logo. I'm excited to see it! Hopefully there will be a leak soon, but like I said, the unveiling is next month, so we won't have to wait too much longer!

The home and road jerseys will include a patch on the right sleeve commemorating the 20th anniversary of Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The Orioles are expected to make an official announcement on the changes in mid-November.

Has anyone else heard this? I've heard about this happening from two different people. One of which is more second hand info, but the other person who mentioned it to me wouldn't make this up. Just to make this clear I'm not saying this if official, this only what I heard, but it would be pretty cool if they brought the Cartoon Bird back. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing an all black hat either.
